AHMET SOYLU

Ahmet Soylu is a full professor of computer science and head of group for Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Sustainability at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University and an associate professor at Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU. He was previously a senior scientist at SINTEF Digital, a senior engineer at DNV GL, a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Oslo – UiO, and a visiting researcher at University of Oxford. He received his PhD degree in computer science in 2012 from University of Leuven. He has been involed in various EU projects including Optique and TheyBuyForYou. His recent research activities are related to data integration, data management, and data access for industrial and open data using the Semantic Web and Linked Data technologies and principles.

CHRISTOPH BUSSLER

Chris was always fascinated by systems and data integration between on-premise systems, private/public clouds and hybrid data architectures. He currently focuses on databases, data migration, data integration and data analytics on a large scale in private/public clouds.

Earlier in his career, Chris contributed to Semantic Web technologies and standards, Enterprise Application System Integration (EAI), Business-to-Business Integration (B2B) as well as Workflow Management. MARTI ESCURSELL

Marti Escursell serves as General Partner at Bonsai Partners. Bonsai Partners is a venture capital fund that continues with the trajectory of almost 20 years of Bonsai Venture Capital, whose success stories as Infojobs, Softonic, Idealista, Tuenti, Bodas.net, Wallapop or Glovo are a relevant part of internet history in Spain. Bonsai Partners invests in primary and secondary market operations of European technology startups that are in pre-Series A through Series B phases.

Marti Escursell serves as Managing Partner at Keyword Venture Capital (VC). Keyword VC (formerly Cube Investments) is the investment division of Cube Ventures Group and is an early-stage Venture Capital firm that co-invests jointly with the European Investment Fund (EIF). This vehicle is closed for new investments since June’18. We focus on digital transformation models, supporting internet entrepreneurs beyond funding needs by offering them a unique hands-on approach on their endeavour and a strong international network.

Michele Barbera is a co-founder and COO of SpazioDati – a Cerved Group Company – where he is working with an amazing team to build next-generation sales/marketing/credit intelligence.

BARBARA PERNICI

Barbara Pernici is a full professor of Computer Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. She has been involved in several European projects, including CS-Aware-Next, Crowd4SDG, E2mC and ECO2Clouds. Her research interests include adaptive information systems, data quality, IS energy efficiency, and social media analysis in emergencies. 

ANNA FENSEL

Anna Fensel is a Full Professor in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands. Previously, she was an Associate Professor and Senior Assistant Professor at Semantic Technology Institute (STI) Innsbruck, Department of Computer Science, Austria, and prior to this worked as a Senior Researcher at FTW – Telecommunications Research Center Vienna, Austria, and a Research Fellow at the University of Surrey, UK, and as a project employee at DERI Innsbruck, University of Innsbruck, Austria. Anna has earned her habilitation (2018) and her doctoral degree (2006) in Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck. Her research focus is on semantic technology, linked data and knowledge graphs, and their application and adoption in various domains (e.g. sustainability, energy efficiency, production, food and health, social sciences), as well as across them. Anna has been extensively involved in EU and national third-party funded projects, being a consortium coordinator of several projects, as well as a principal investigator in further more than 20 projects.
