During the 3-day BDVA forum in Budapest, enRichMyData organised a productive session on Generative AI for Data and Knowledge Engineering, sponsored by Dynabic-eu, HUMAINE and INTEND project.
The speakers explored the complexity, transparency, fairness, and accountability of adopting generative AI in data and knowledge engineering. They also highlighted some engineering challenges that arise when moving from the experimental phase to full-scale deployment—an area of growing importance as AI continues transforming industries.
The panel triggered much excitement around the discussion about the expected behaviour of the Large Language Models (LLMs) – are they more predictable and more reliable than humans?
The session chair was Dumitru Roman from SINTEF and Dessislava Petrova-Antonova from GATE was the panel moderator, both representing enRichMyData project.
We extend our gratitude to our speakers Matteo Palmonari, Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Ian Makgill, Spend Network (enRichMyData project), Giada Landi, Nextworks S.r.l. (INTEND project), Wissam Mallouli, Montimage (Dynabic-eu project), Klemen Kenda, Jozef Stefan Institute (HUMAINE project) and Elena Simperl, King’s College London, for their valuable contributions.
