The enRichMyData project was proud to participate in the BDVA Data Week 2025 session titled “EUDATA+: Solutions for Data Trading and Pricing”, held as part of the EUDATA+ collaboration. The session brought together leading European research projects to discuss the commercial value of data, the role of Data Spaces, and the future of data-driven innovation across industries.
Presented by Fernando Perales (Ph.D., MBA) from JOT Internet Media, enRichMyData contributed insights into how enriched, high-quality data supports market-ready solutions and drives value in the digital economy. Fernando highlighted practical applications of the enRichMyData toolbox in streamlining data preparation and enhancing datasets for improved business outcomes.
The session was co-moderated by Richard Lloyd Stevens (International Data Corporation – IDC) and Martin Serrano (Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics / NIST Associate), and featured representatives from projects such as UPCAST, PISTIS, DATAMITE, FAME, ExtremeXP, and Graph-Massivizer. Together, they discussed the critical role of Data Trading and Pricing techniques as foundational elements for Single Digital Data Markets, powered by Data Spaces.
Key takeaways from the session included:
The need for innovative pricing models and trading mechanisms for data.
How Data Spaces can serve as enablers for trustworthy data exchange and GenAI evolution.
Opportunities for the research and industry communities to jointly tackle both technological and business challenges.
The session combined targeted presentations, keynote messages, and an interactive panel discussion, providing a platform for knowledge exchange among policymakers, industry experts, and researchers.
As enRichMyData continues to advance open-source tools for scalable, automated data enrichment, events like BDVA Data Week are vital for shaping the future of the European data economy.
